How to hide or show shortcuts on your Roku® streaming device
Shortcuts appear as tiles at the bottom of the channel grid on the Home screen of your Roku streaming player or Roku TV™. Each shortcut provides a convenient way to perform common tasks, typically in less steps. For example, you can select the 'Add Channels' shortcut to jump directly to the Roku Channel Store and browse streaming channels to add to your Roku device without needing to navigate there manually.
What shortcuts are available?
Currently, the following shortcuts are available on the specified type of Roku device.
- Add Channels: Jump directly to the Roku Channel Store on Roku players and Roku TVs rather than navigating to the Chanel Store through menu selections. For more details, check out all the ways you can add channels to your Roku device.
- TV Off (Roku streaming players only): Get your Roku player to turn off the television screen without needing to pick up your TV remote. For help, read about how you can use the 'TV Off' shortcut.
- Sleep Timer (Roku TV only): Assign a time in the near future when the screen on your Roku TV will shut off on its own. To learn more, read the detailed article about using a sleep timer with your Roku TV.
