How to watch Max on your Roku streaming device
Max brings all the programming that you love from HBO Max together with favorites from Discovery TV brands. Max combines the worlds of HBO, the DC Universe, plus hit movies, and original series together with fan-favorite genres like true crime, reality, food, and comedy. If you already subscribe to Max, sign in with your email and password to start watching. If you get HBO with your cable or satellite package, connect your provider using the credentials from your cable or satellite provider.

How to get Max on your Roku streaming device
If you have a Roku® voice remote, press the Voice button 
and say "Max" to add the app or get Max from the Streaming Store using these steps:
- Press Home
on your Roku remote - Scroll and select Streaming Store
- Select Search
- Enter Max
- When you find the app, use the directional pad on your remote to highlight Max
- Press OK
to view details - Select Add channel
Once installed, a tile for Max will appear on your Home screen. If you prefer, the app can be moved elsewhere in the grid using Star 
on your Roku remote. You can also add the app from the Roku website or from the Roku mobile app. Learn more about adding apps to your Roku device.
When you open the app, you’ll be prompted to sign in or sign up.
Is Max supported on my Roku streaming device?
Max is supported on your Roku streaming player or Roku TV™ system if it's running Roku OS 11 and higher. To find this information, go to the Home screen and select Settings > System > About. Your Roku device checks for an update every 24 to 36 hours or you can manually check for a software update if necessary.
If your older-generation Roku device does not support Roku OS 11 and you want to watch Max, visit the Roku product pages and find a new Roku streaming device that best fits your needs.
How to sign in to Max
If you already have a Max or HBO Max account, you can sign in to the Max app on your Roku device using your Max account information. If you don't have a subscription to Max, you can sign up through the Max app on your Roku device.
If you get Max with your internet, mobile, or TV package, you need to connect your provider account before signing in to Max.

How to subscribe to Max
You can subscribe to Max through the Max app on your Roku streaming device or through another provider.
Managing your Max subscription varies based on how you subscribe.
- Subscribed to Max through Roku: Manage your subscription on my.roku.com. Learn more about managing your Roku-billed Pay subscriptions.
- Subscribed to Max using another streaming device or provider (such as Amazon or Samsung TV): Manage your subscription through that provider.
- Subscribed to Max through your cable or satellite provider, or another provider (such as Spectrum, AT&T, or Hulu): Contact that provider to manage your subscription.

Can I use my Max subscription from my Roku device to sign in to Max on other devices?
Yes. You simply need to sign into Max on the other devices using the same email and password you used when creating your Max account.
What happened to my HBO Max channel?
HBO Max is now Max. If your HBO Max app didn't update to Max, use the following steps to update your app:
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Use the directional pad to highlight the HBO Max app
- Press Star choose Check for Updates
- Once you've installed Max, you can remove the HBO Max app
- Tip: You can also go Settings > System > System update > Check now to check for updates
