Is my Roku Home Monitoring system secure and private?

Roku® has partnered with Noonlight to offer professional monitoring (subscription required) from live, US-based agents that contact you and can send emergency assistance when an alarm is triggered by your Roku Home Monitoring System SE.

What is Noonlight?

Roku Pro Monitoring is powered by Noonlight, a leader in smart professional monitoring and emergency response. Their caring and certified dispatchers are on standby, 24/7, ready to route vital information to 911 call takers and first responders, so you won’t have to.

Will Noonlight contact me?

In the event of an emergency, Noonlight will contact you almost immediately when an alarm is triggered and your system is not turned off with your secure PIN. Noonlight uses a pool of phone numbers that they may contact you from.

If an alarm occurs, your name, phone number, home address and code word are immediately sent to a Noonlight monitoring center for verification and emergency service dispatch. Your data will only be used by Noonlight for the purposes of delivering you the monitoring service.

Live streams and video recordings from your Roku Smart Home cameras are not shared with any Roku employees or third parties (including Noonlight and the monitoring center).

Can Noonlight access my live streams or video recordings?

Noonlight will not have access to your camera live streams or recorded videos on cloud or local storage (microSD card).
