Why do I see a message on my Roku device asking me to update my payment information?
Unable to process your payment
If you see a message that says, 'Your payment information needs to be updated before you can complete the process,' it means that Roku is unable to process or charge the payment method in your Roku account. This could be because your card has expired, information is incorrect, you've reached your credit limit, or other reasons.
How to update your payment method
To resolve the issue, you need to update your payment method on file in your Roku account, one of the following ways:
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- On your device go to Settings > Payment method
- Visit go.roku.com/payhelp to update your payment method
If you're still having problems with your payment method after you've tried updating it, you may need to contact your bank or card provider to resolve the issue.
