When you add a payment method to your Roku account, you can use Roku Pay to quickly start free trials, sign up for subscriptions, buy and rent movies, or purchase products in just a click. Signing up for a Roku account is always free. The payment method in your Roku account will only be charged when you sign up for a subscription or make other purchases.
How to sign up for a subscription using Roku Pay
Signing up for subscriptions through Roku is easy when you add a payment method and set up Roku Pay. Subscriptions purchased with Roku Pay will appear under Manage subscriptions in your Roku account.
If you sign up for a subscription directly through a streaming service provider and not through Roku, you must contact the provider with any billing questions. For example, if you already have a Netflix account, you can sign in to Netflix on your Roku device, but you'll be billed directly through Netflix. Roku is not able to access this billing information.
