How to use your credits

Credits may be provided to you in connection with various Roku promotions. These credits can be used for transactions billed through Roku Pay in accordance with the Roku Promotional Credit Terms, including eligible subscription services, movie rentals and purchases, and Roku products. 

Claiming and using your credits

  1. Claim your credit by following the instructions outlined in the email or on-device notification you received during the applicable promotion
  2. Use your credit to try something new like an eligible premium subscription service, movie rental or purchase, or Roku device

After you claim your credit, it will be automatically applied to your next eligible transaction through Roku.

Credits cannot be purchased, have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash. Credits cannot be used for transactions that aren't billed through Roku Pay, including but not limited to: Netflix, YouTube TV, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime Video.

How to see how many credits you have available

To view any available credits, sign in to your Roku account. You can also view your purchase history to see how credits have been applied to your transactions. 

Why do I need to add a payment method? 

If you don't already have a payment method on file when you redeem your credits, we ask you to add one  to make sure you have enough funds to complete the transaction. If the applicable transaction amount is less than your available credits, any remaining credits will be available for future purchases. If your available credits are less than the applicable transaction amount, your payment method on file will be charged for the difference.
