How to change Wi-Fi settings on your Roku Smart Home device
During the setup process, your Roku® Smart Home devices adopt Wi-Fi® settings from your phone or tablet. When you move or change network equipment, these settings may change, causing your smart home devices to go offline. To update the Wi-Fi settings, repeat the setup process and connect your smart home devices to your new network.
How to update Wi-Fi settings
You can find guidelines below depending on the type of each Roku Smart Home device you wish to update.
Cameras and doorbells
To change Wi-Fi settings for your smart home camera or video doorbell, you simply need to set up each device from the smart home app. You do not need to factory reset the device which removes settings and preferences.
