Understanding the status light on your Roku Smart Home device
This article explains what the status light on your Roku® Smart Home device means during and after setup. Your Roku Smart Home device is easy to set up, control, and configured through the Roku Smart Home mobile app, but it is important to understand what the status light means as you power on your camera, doorbell, plugs, or lights and continue with the setup process.
Status light for cameras
Roku Indoor Camera SE, Roku Indoor Camera 360° SE, Roku Outdoor Wired Camera SE
The status light on your Roku Indoor Camera SE, Roku Indoor Camera 360° SE, and Roku Outdoor Wired Camera SE is located on the front, above the camera lens.

Your home monitoring hub has three status lights on the top.

Roku Monitoring Sensors
Your entry sensors and motion sensor have a red LED status light.
During setup, the light will blink once when the sensor is powered on and blink three times when the Reset button is pressed.
After setup, your entry sensor will blink every time it detects an open or close. Your motion sensor will not blink when it detects activity.

The status light on your Roku Video Doorbell SE is located on the front, above the camera lens.
