How to find the MAC address for your Roku Smart Home device
Every Roku® Smart Home device has a unique MAC address that helps identify it when connected to your network. You may need to provide this MAC address when contacting Roku for customer support or product service. You can find the MAC address in the Roku Smart Home app, on the physical device itself, or on the original packaging.
In the smart home app
With each Roku home monitoring device, camera, video doorbell, bulb, plug, and light strip, you can use the steps below to find your MAC address in the Roku Smart Home app for iOS® and Android™.
- Open the smart home app on your smartphone or tablet
- Select a device from the Home screen
- Tap Settings in the top corner
- Tap Device info
- Identify the 12-digit alphanumeric address labeled MAC
On the physical device
Most Roku Smart Home devices have their MAC address printed on the physical product somewhere, or on an included accessory. This information is typically labeled MAC, but some products may list both a Wi-Fi MAC and BT MAC. In these cases, use the address labeled Wi-Fi MAC.
- Note: The MAC address is not printed anywhere on a Floodlight Camera SE. You will need to find this information in the smart home app or on the original packaging.
The devices included with the Roku Home Monitoring System SE starter kit have individual MAC addresses printed directly on them.
To get to the MAC address on some smart home products like a video doorbell, entry sensor, motion sensor, or keypad, you must unmount the device. If this is inconvenient, you may want to try and find the MAC address in the Smart Home app or on the original packaging.
