Why can’t I subscribe to SHOWTIME on Roku any longer?
Paramount+ is the new home of SHOWTIME
Paramount+ is now the new home of SHOWTIME. After SHOWTIME‘s existing service ends (beginning on or around Aug 22, 2023), you’ll still be able to watch many of your favorite SHOWTIME programs on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. Plus you’ll now have access to Paramount’s original series, movies, live sports, news, and more. SHOWTIME pay-per-view events will still be available on the SHOWTIME app.
If you have a SHOWTIME Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel and no Paramount+ subscription
Your SHOWTIME on The Roku Channel subscription will transfer automatically to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME on The Roku Channel, after SHOWTIME‘s existing service ends (beginning on or around Aug 22, 2023).
If you have both a SHOWTIME and a Paramount+ Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel
Your current subscription to Paramount+ on The Roku Channel will now include access to many of your favorite SHOWTIME programs. Your separate subscription to SHOWTIME will be canceled automatically (beginning on or around Aug 22, 2023).
If you have both a SHOWTIME Premium Subscription and a Paramount+ Essential subscription on The Roku Channel
Your current Paramount+ Essential subscription will stay the same at this time, and your subscription to SHOWTIME on The Roku Channel will be canceled automatically (beginning on or around Aug 22, 2023). If you'd like to continue watching many of your favorite SHOWTIME programs along with Paramount+ programs, you have the option to upgrade to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. If you have a SHOWTIME Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel and a Paramount+ Premium subscription
Your current Paramount+ Premium subscription now includes access to many of your favorite SHOWTIME programs. Your SHOWTIME Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel will be canceled automatically (beginning on or around Aug 22, 2023).
If you have a SHOWTIME Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel and a Paramount+ Essential subscription
Your Premium Subscription to SHOWTIME on The Roku Channel will be canceled automatically (beginning on or around Aug 22, 2023), and your current Paramount+ Essential subscription will stay the same at this time. You can continue watching many of your favorite SHOWTIME programs, if you upgrade to a Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscription.
